ASU vs ALS

ASU vs. ALS is a charity walk hosted by the Appalachian State University Health Professions Club. This event is designed to spread ALS awareness and raise funds for treatment/care services, education, and research.

This event will be held on Saturday March 28th, 2015 at Duck Pond Field (Appalachian State Univerisity Campus). Participants will register and walk around a designated track while listening to live music by talented local bands Sensation of FallingFrom Bears, and Talking Box Co., participating in the silent auction and field games, and enjoying donated refreshments.

...Maybe an ultra ice-bucket challenge?

Those who walk are part of the cure. One is not only aiding the fight against ALS monetarily by registering and participating. By coming together with the community, one is strengthening the campaign. This collective, positive demonstration both inspires others to contribute and provides hope and support for those suffering from the disease.

Also, please bookmark this page if you're interested in keeping track of our progress as we approach the March 28th fundraising deadline.  We encourage you to browse the rest of this website so you can learn more about ASU vs. ALS.

We are grateful for your support.
