This conference is specifically designed to meet the educational needs of interdisciplinary healthcare teams and caregivers who work with individuals diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). ALS, also known as “Gehrig’Disease,”is a progressive neuromuscular disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. The complex and progressive nature of the disease requires expert intervention from diagnosis and throughout the course of the disease.
