The ALS Association NC Chapter secures volunteers for the Oak City Mile and organizers make a contribution in support of the Chapter's programs and services.

Raleigh has a long-standing tradition of having a 1-mile Sunday afternoon race held Downtown in September. Precision Race is keeping the tradition alive with the 2nd annual Oak City Mile.

The Oak City Mile includes a Men's Competitive Mile Race at 2 pm followed by a Women's Competitive Mile Race at 2:20 pm.  New for 2016 we also have an untimed Recreational Mile at 2:40 pm.  USATF Certification NC15067-DF

• Top 3 Overall Men & Women
• Top 3 Masters Men & Women

There will also be age group awards for 1st place M&F in these age groups:  15 & Under, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, and 75+
