The Second Annual "Outlaw Dash" is a 5K Run/Walk around the Trent Woods neighborhood of New Bern. The purpose of this event is to raise money and awareness for the ALS Association.  All profits will be donated to the local Jim "Catfish" Hunter Chapter of the ALS Association.

The event is held in honor of Colonel James Lee Whitlow, call sign "Outlaw," who passed away in 2013 due to this terrible disease.  The event was started last year by his surviving wife and three children to honor his memory and to help others who are diagnosed with ALS.

This year's "Outlaw Dash" will be held on Saturday, November 29.  Registration will open at 8:00 a.m. and the race will begin at 9:00 a.m.  The registration table will be at Bangert Elementary School, located at 3712 Canterbury Rd, Trent Woods, NC 28562.  The race will begin from the parking lot.  Parking will be available on site.  To register, we ask that you make a minimum donation of $15.00 per person through the Outlaw Dash 2014 online team page.  Kids under 12 may race for free.  Additional donations are welcome.
