This Labor Day weekend, join Noah’s Landing for a celebration of local tunes, local barbecue, and not-so-local wildlife at “Blue ‘n ‘Cue at the Zoo.” During this special two-day weekend, local bluegrass musicians will stop by the zoo to play family-friendly tunes and barbecue plates will be on sale from Stephenson’s Barbecue. As a special addition, two zoo volunteers will also be “taking the plunge” for ALS awareness by raising money for the ALS Association at a special ice-cold dunking booth. With volunteers standing by to talk about the animals, there’s no better time to wander the zoo, grab some ‘cue, and sit a spell.
