Thank you for visiting Bubba's Team Page!  Our team walks in memory of our brother Hank who passed away on September 16, 2020 after his 6-year battle with ALS.  

We miss Bubba dearly every single day, and we continue to fight for a cure for ALS in the hopes that other families do not have to suffer from ALS in the future.

On June 26, 2021, will you join us from wherever you are? Again this year, the ALS Walk is Virtual, and it is a unique opportunity when you can join us from literally ANYWHERE you are located! Last year we had friends + family join us from many areas around the US, and we would appreciate that support once again. 

We support the mission of the ALS Association and the goal is always to find a cure for ALS. To do that, fundraising + awareness is needed.

Here are some examples of how donations can help:

$5,000: 80% of the Chapter cost for 1 ALS Clinic Day Note: The North Carolina Chapter supports all of the multidisciplinary ALS Clinics throughout the state

 $2,500: 5 replacement batteries for power wheelchairs. Note: The North Carolina Chapter loans rollator walkers, manual, transport and power wheelchairs ($30,000+) to people living with ALS free of charge

 $1,500: 2 patient assistance grants to pay for in-home care, co-pays, home modifications and more

 

 $250: 1 support group meeting a year to provide the care ALS patients need. Help make a difference and donate or join a walk today.
