Many of you know, Nancy Clements, who was diagnosed with ALS in 2007 and passed away July 11, 2013. No one knew how she got it or how to stop its progression. Nancy could not speak, feed or care for herself, and was unfortunately completely aware of her decline. By joining Nancy's Crew and raising money for those still living with ALS, you will help fund research to find a cause, cure and/or means of controlling the disease's progression. Nancy beat the statistics and survivied six years with this horrible disease, most die within two or three years. Please help others to live longer too.
This year we will be walking in loving memory of Nancy. Please join us as we remember and celebrate her life as a loving mother, wife, co-worker, and friend. If you have any questions about Nancy or the walk, please feel free to contact Nancy's daughter at jillianclements.ee@gmail.com.
The ALSA is actively supporting research for a cause and cure, they support three clinics in NC devoted to ALS patients, provide education, equipment and financial support. 93 percent of every donation goes to benefit their mission. In turn, Nancy and her family and others directly benefit from your donation.
This is such an urgent, important and worthwhile place to donate. Please give generously and know how much you are helping.
Thank you for visiting our walk site.
