Thank you for visiting the CoopStrong Fundrasing Page and helping us reach our goal! The CoopStrong team is committed to raising money, supporting, and spreading awareness for all of the families affected by ALS. Your donation goes towards ALS research for finding treatment and a cure, and every amount helps!
Nelson began living with ALS in June 2016 and and went to live ALS-Free in Heaven May 18, 2017. Our family has been staying "CoopStrong" thanks to the prayers, support, and love from people like you! We are excited to participate and show our own support for the ALS Association through the Walk to Defeat ALS® and hope you will too in memory of Coop.
You are invited to be a member of the CoopStrong team in the Walk to Defeat ALS®. The Coopers look forward to seeing you there! If you are unable to attend the walk, you can choose a team member from the list and donate to our cause.
Why We Need Your Help:
ALS is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of an ALS patient averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
Every 90 minutes a person in this country is diagnosed with ALS and every 90 minutes another person will lose their battle against this disease. ALS occurs throughout the world with no racial, ethnic, or socioeconomic boundaries.
This crippling disease can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease yet it still costs loved ones an average of $200,000 a year to provide the care ALS patients need. Help make a difference and donate or join a walk today.
